And He pours His grace & love on me anyway.
I grew up in the church, 3rd child to faithful believing parents (who had 10 children total!).
I was a know-it-all kid who questioned her Sunday School teacher's correctness.
Now I am seeing how much I don't know.
Blogging is awesome because of all the people out there
who inspire me to think beyond what I have previously known.
On my own blog I write about marriage, because I love mine so much.
I write about grief, because I have held my firstborn son so briefly.
I write about my 4 young children who delight & challenge & make this place the Everyday Carnival it is.
I write about adoption as I learn a little at a time.
We are on the road to another child through International adoption.
We are currently waiting for a referral. We don't know when that will come. Perhaps in2012 2013.

I close my eyes almost any time I smile.
I laugh loud.
My hair began to gray when I was 18.
I wish I didn't have such a short temper.
I cook & don't finish the dishes.
I read bits of books & rarely finish.
I have a fabric stash of which I may never see the bottom.
Someday I hope to publish a cookbook, take better photos & get a counseling degree.
It's okay if I don't though.
