Free Books

I just started selling all the books I don't want anymore on Amazon.  It's great.  I just sold my 2nd book today.  I've made $15.  Now we can buy another book or two.
Amazon takes a commission cut on all your sales.  But, Amazon is where people search for books.  So, it seemed worth it to me.
Another way to get free books is to bookmooch.  My mom & sister do this one.  No money is exchanged.  By giving books, you get points to get more books from someone else.

In case you couldn't tell, I am feeling a little uninspired for Thrifty ideas.  Who wants to be a guest blogger for Thrifty Thursday?  Do you have a good idea to share?

Here's an idea for Thrifty Thursday... tell your kids not to waste eggs by cracking them in the garbage! LOL! Once you figure out how to get them to stop doing this, please please please let me know. We would save so much money! We have recently had a cocoa experiment, a spice and glue mixture (like a whole new jar of oregano), etc etc.

That is brilliant.

I didn't know about that free book website. I'm going to check that out - thanks!

Krista, tell your kids not to touch the eggs :)

Krista--you should teach them to dump some flour, sugar, and butter in the garbage too--then bake them a cake when they're done!

Ugh. Gross.

Haha Brittany, so smart!

And Stef, yeah, gosh, go with the easy solution why don't you?? ;)

I have a few frugal ideas if you want me to shoot a few your way. I was also thinking of having a spot on my blog about some of my mom friends (including you) who have businesses too. In a few weeks I'll shoot you a few questions and you'll be a feature working from home mama on my blog. :)
