Oatmeal is Versatile

My Dad eats oatmeal a lot. He really loves it. I think sometimes, he eats it for breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert. There is so much you can do with the dish. You can add raisins, for example. And/or milk.
He has been encouraging me to make it for my poor little girl, who hadn't experienced the joy of eating oatmeal - until yesterday.
I made oatmeal for breakfast yesterday, & this morning. Thanks Dad! We all are healthier for it!

I thought he only ate Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches.

It is Justus' favorite breakfast (well, actually, he loves anything for breakfast, but he eats oatmeal almost every day).

Certain types can even lower your cholesterol! Our kids love the Quaker kind. I mix in Greek style (very fattening) plain yogurt, from TJ's and then add blueberries and you'd think they were eating ice cream. They love it. I'm happy to get Ethan excited about food -- Rachel needs no encouragement in the area. :)
