Pork is a Nice Sweet Meat

Have you ever seen the movie Babe? I have. Many times. We watched it yesterday. And the day before. And the day before. And, maybe the day before that - I don't recall...

We think it is a marvelous movie. Gillian loves animals. My husband loves animals, & he loves puppetry in film. I don't have a particular love (nor a particular hate) for either. But, I love Babe. It moves me. It keeps making me cry. It always has. When Babe's mom is taken, when Fly's puppies are sold... but most especially when Babe & Hoggett are winners at the competition. I wonder why this movie gets me so good? Do I really love animals, deep down inside?!

haha. I Like the question your friend asked. :)
We just rented this movie for the first time about 2 months ago and Ethan seemed to enjoy it. I have never cared for movies where animals talk. Its why I've always hated Sesamie Street. Ug.
But, I think deep down inside you love animals. :)

Milo & Otis, Black Beauty, and Homeward Bound are other good animal movies, the talking animals does kind of freak me out, but these three are narrated, no moving mouths.

Oh, and one more: Born Free, it's about lions (though not narrated by them) Providence watched it nearly everyday for 6 months or more when she was a year old.

Milo & Otis is the other favorite... and Flipper. Gillian hasn't seen Black Beauty or Homeward Bound. Homeward Bound is in our que on Netflix!

I do love Milo and Otis. Although... do the animals look like they're talking in that one, or are you just watching their faces and hearing someone else's voice? I can't remember. Homeward Bound is cute too. :)
